BBQ Shack in Fanning Springs

We both had rib sandwich and was terrible. Old ribs and tough, could hardly chew the meat. No flavor. Didnt finish it. I am sorry I didnt return it.

Very large portions the rib sandwiches on garlic toast was excellent. Seating area was not special but clean

The food is so good. I've tried almost everything on the menu and loved it. The only problem I ever face is they have so many good options on the menu I find it hard to choose just one meal.

The ribs, pulled pork and bbq chicken was great!! And the sweet tea was excellent!

The shrimp is delicious. Not much of a place to look at but food is worth it.

O my goodness, best bar b que I've had. Nothing real fancy about the building but the food is superb!!! Fown to earth folks who work here. Must place to stop if you're in the area.

I always get the smoked chicken and corn nuggets. So yummy. Sweet tea is good too. Friendly staff.

Fantastic Food. Better than Sonny's by far. No all you can eat but you don't need it here. Large portions great taste and friendly staff. Don't let the outside looks fool you.

I always love stopping at these small "Mom and Pop" places because most often, they're better than chain restaurants. And I wasn't disappointed! Yummo!!!! I had the Boneless Rib sandwich with fries and they offer delicious bbq sauces on the table.

Pulled Pork and Brisket were very good! Zipper Peas in season and outstanding, not over cooked. Reccomendations was Coleslaw over Fried Okra, don't miss out on the fantastic slaw! Wife had the Jalapeno corn bites. Crunchy and spicy. Can reccomend the Hot and the Sweet in house Sauces. Still trying to figure out mustard base bbq sauce, the one here had a nice bit of spice but still came across as Frenchs!Will be back for the ribs. May go to 5 stars then!

It was like a place in time, brought back some good memories. The food was great, but had to doggie bag over half of my pulled pork!!! Service was superb!!

Stopped in on our way back from the Keys! BEST FOOD ☆ Ribs, pulled pork, corn nuggets OMG ! Everyone was super nice. Small hole in the wall and best bbq find in a lonnnng time. Highly reccomend!

This place is the best! My family all love the looks and the food is fantastic. If I could come here everyday I would!!! The cooks do an amazing job. The people in the front are so nice and ecstatic. I love y'all and thank y'all for putting up for even the people who put bad ratings. Have a good day!

Everything is great. The Food the costumer service. Corn pops beef brisket.

I ordered ribs dinner they were good but a bit tough. And I ordered coleslaw but when I got home it was potato salad.

Three signs about jesus, two that tell you how fast they can kill you with their guns and Trump hats abound. The pulled pork looked like North Carolina style but we were disappointed. This was BBQ without flavor. The meat totally depends on the sauce which was ok. Their onion petals were good but there is way better BBQ to be found.

Great service, and so friendly! One of those little places that you know has to be good because of all the cars there. We got a sliced pork sandwich and a rib sandwich. Both very good. Prices weren't out of line either. Happy we stopped there :)

The food tasted wonderful but the portions were rather small for the price.

My pork ribs were not freshly cooked, and had a warmer flavor. Our brisket was also not fresh had warmer flavor. Neither of the meats had any dry rub or spices on them or much smoke flavor.Loved the fried corn, onion peddles, bbq sauces and Cole slaw.

We had pulled pork and fried okra. The pork was overflowing and yummy. The fried okra was fresh and the best I ever had. The folks are so friendly. I only wish I had room to taste the pies. It's quite small and local yokel. We loved it.

Service is very friendly, clean, fresh food, so there is a wait time to be expected, and so worth it! The ceiling fans could have been turned up to help fight the heat but they were clean, too. Would definitely revisit. Would have given fifth star if it had been a little more comfortable in the dining area

Don't get me wrong I love this place...but...last night I picked up a to go order and was REALLY disappointed. The service is always stellar and it was as usual. My rib dinner was awesome as usual but my wife's fried okra was horrible. It was beyond soggy and tasted like really old grease. Her beans had a funny taste as well. She made a comment about her brisket as well and ended up not eating any more than a taste from each. Too far to drive back so the dogs got a treat. Hopefully we'll give them another try. Like I said...has always been really good.

Quick service, great full filling food!!! Portions are huge. A little pricey, but fantastic taste.

Had pulled pork, very good. Cole slaw is mayo based as opposed to vinegar based. Just an fyi for Cole slaw enthusiasts

Some of the best RIBS I've had in Florida. Awesome food, friendly service.. We did not get sick, sometimes ribs do that, NOT HERE> spend some money!!!

Have only tried the brisket and the wings, both were very good. The slaw, corn nuggets and fried okra were all good also. My only detractor was dining in and the food being served in to go containers.
